On Tuesday, July 24, 2012 the Fort Loudon Library hosted a camp-in with stories and songs by Pastor Valeria Schmidt. Forest Ranger Shawn Lynn and Smokey Bear also presented a program on rattle snacks, bears and campfires. Everyone enjoyed S'mores!
The Fort Loudon Community Library is a branch of the Franklin County Library System serving Peters Township and beyond. The library is located in an old Cumberland Valley Railroad Station. Library hours are: Monday through Thursday 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 9 to 12. Telephone:369-4704.
